QuickBooks ProAdvisor Program FAQs
Q. When does my membership period for the
ProAdvisor Program begin?
A. Your program membership begins when you purchase
your annual membership and will be effective for 365 days from that
date.
Q. How can I renew my
membership?
A. Intuit will send you a renewal notice inviting
you to renew before your current membership expires. If you don't
receive a notice, contact us to renew before the expiry of your
current membership at 1 800 823-0083 or support@proadvisor.ca.
Q. May I use the QuickBooks
or ProFile name in my advertising and sales materials?
A. In order to use the QuickBooks name in advertising,
detailed brochures and sales materials, you may usually do so, provided
you carefully follow the guidelines listed in the Resource Guide.
You cannot use Intuit brands in logo form (i.e. as they appear on
Intuit's packaging and other materials). Only plain-text display
of the software names is allowed and such display must comply with
the guidelines.
Q. How do I know that
I have the latest QuickBooks product updates and revisions?
A. You will receive a ProAdvisor Product Alert
email about product updates and enhancements. Intuit periodically
makes revisions to software products (referred to as ""releases",
"maintenance releases" or "patches") after they have shipped, in
order to improve the product. Please note that these releases differ
from upgrade versions, which include major "enhancements and new
features. The latest updates are available for you to download in
the "Update QuickBooks" section under the File menu in QuickBooks.
Q. What if my firm has
multiple partners or employees? Does my membership cover everyone?
A. The annual fee for the ProAdvisor Program covers
membership for an individual. If your organization is small and
you want to share a membership (for example, with your business
partner), you may share certain membership benefits, including the
technical support plan, but note that the software itself is subject
to QuickBooks Software License Agreement and requires one software
license for each user. Certification in the Certified QuickBooks
ProAdvisor program extends only to the individual who successfully
completes the Certification exam. The Find-An-Expert database will
only list the address and send referrals to the member who purchased
the membership.
If your company or firm has multiple offices, you will require a
membership for each location. If your firm is larger and you need
multiple copies of the training and reference materials, additional
copies of the software, more technical support, and so on, you will
require a membership for each professional. Additional memberships
within the same firm are discounted 25% when three or more memberships
of equal value are purchased.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Intuit Canada monitors use of your QuickBooks
technical support plan. All professionals from your organization
who use your support plan must provide your name and/or customer
number in order to receive this priority service. |
